Fixed & invisible orthodontics

Correct tooth alignment not only improves the appearance of your smile but also promotes oral health. Discover our fixed and invisible orthodontic solutions, designed to meet your needs.

Fixed orthodontics

Fixed orthodontics uses traditional braces with brackets and metal wires. This method is particularly effective for correcting even the most complex malocclusions, ensuring precise control throughout the treatment. Thanks to its proven effectiveness, results are visible in a relatively short time, allowing you to achieve the smile you want quickly.

How does the treatment work?

01

Initial examination and diagnosis

Photographs, X-rays and digital impressions to define a precise plan.

02

Fitting the braces

The brackets are bonded to the teeth and connected with orthodontic wires.

03

Regular check-ups

Every 4–6 weeks the orthodontist adjusts the wire to guide the teeth into the desired position.

04

Average duration

From 12 to 24 months, depending on the complexity of the case.

05

End of treatment

Removal of the brackets, dental cleaning and fitting of a retainer.

Invisible orthodontics

Invisible orthodontics, on the other hand, uses custom-made clear aligners that are practically invisible. This approach offers superior aesthetics, making the aligners discreet and perfect for adults and teenagers. In addition, with no brackets or wires, comfort is greatly increased, reducing the risk of gum irritation. The aligners can be removed during meals and for cleaning, making oral hygiene easier and the treatment even more convenient.

Frequently asked questions

Does fitting braces hurt?

Slight discomfort in the first few days is normal, but it quickly disappears. It is a sign that the teeth are starting to move.

How long does the treatment take?

It depends on the type of problem and the treatment chosen: it can range from 6 months to over 2 years.

Can I choose between fixed and invisible?

Yes. After the first examination we will suggest the solution best suited to your case and lifestyle.

Are the aligners really invisible?

Yes, they are almost imperceptible. Many patients wear them at work or during social events without any problem.

Can I eat with the braces?

With fixed orthodontics you need to avoid hard or sticky foods. With invisible orthodontics you can remove them during meals, so there are no restrictions.

How are they cleaned?

Fixed: with special brushes, dental floss and interdental brushes. Invisible: just a soft toothbrush and cold water, or dedicated aligner products.

After treatment, is there a risk the teeth will shift again?

It is possible. That is why a retainer is always prescribed at the end of treatment to maintain the result over time.
